Organ Prelude

is pleased to have this manuscript from the pen of Johann Sebastian Bach.
This is the first page of his "Preludium und Fuga h-moll."
In English, "Prelude and Fugue in B minor."
(Catalog # BWV 544.)

I admit that I would have trouble sightreading this.
After a painstaking transcription process, I could read it.
Then, upon being able to read it clearly, I would have trouble playing it.

The curator admits to cutting this from a full-page newspaper ad
and putting it in a cheap frame using an old T-shirt as the matte.
