Ghostbusters!

I don't know whether it counts as a "cult classic" or not, but the original Ghostbusters
movie has many loyal fans after all these years.   One of its most recognizable aspects is its
theme song, written and recorded by Ray Parker, Jr.   It became his biggest hit, reaching #1.

The soundtrack was composed by Elmer Bernstein, who scored more than 100 movies during his career.
Some of his most memorable scores include The Ten Commandments, The Magnificent Seven, and The Great
Escape
.   Other performers on the soundtrack include Air Supply, Laura Branigan, and The Thompson Twins.

As is common with successful movies, a sequel soon followed, creatively named Ghostbusters II.   In addition,
it spawned a "female version" also named Ghostbusters, then Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and Ghostbusters: Frozen
Empire
.   There were also a couple of animated TV series, The Real Ghostbusters and Extreme Ghostbusters.

This film was scored by Randy Edelman, who also scored Twins, The Mask, and the TV series MacGyver. Other
soundtrack performers include Elton John, Glenn Frey of The Eagles, and James "J.T." Taylor of Kool & The Gang.

I made my own refrigerator magnet. Well, okay, a file cabinet magnet.

So someone else rewarded me with this adorable T-shirt.
