I made each one into a square and stacked them with the smallest on top. In the image, each pixel represents one square mile. (Actually, for each I started with a square; then, to get the exact size, added along the east and, if necessary, the south.)

You will notice that most are very close in size to those directly above and below. Extreme example: Oklahoma (in red) barely peeks out from beneath Missouri (in green). On the other hand, Texas is 168% the size of California.

Wait! What about Alaska? Okay, print the image on an 8½ × 11 piece of paper. The paper is barely large enough to represent Alaska!
