ROBERT LEROY PARKER / HENRY McCARTY / JOSEPH ISAAC CLANTON
famous outlaws of the Old West
- Parker was the leader of the Hole-In-The-Wall Gang, but they took on the name the Wild Bunch, which earlier referred to the Doolin-Dalton Gang. He himself went by the name Butch Cassidy.
- McCarty's crime spree started when he was just 16, and ended with his death at age 21 at the hands of Pat Garrett. So, he never had a chance to outgrow being called Billy The Kid.
- The name Ike Clanton is less familiar, but he was the leader of the Cowboys, four of whom faced four lawmen beside the OK Corral. Ike was unarmed, so he left the while his buddies were shot to death.
